$(i)$ Formation of Vermicompost: It is produced by the decomposition of organic plant and animal waste (refuse) through the action of earthworms. The earthworms break down the organic matter, resulting in a nutrient-rich compost.
$(ii)$ Formation of Green manure: It is formed by growing leguminous plants like sunhemp or cluster bean (guar) before sowing the main crop. These plants are then mulched into the soil by ploughing.
