What is evolutionary biology ?

Evolution is the sequence of gradual changes from simple life forms to complex life forms, i.e. from primitive organisms that lived over millions of year ago to new organisms that exist today.

Human beings are the most recent and most highly evolved among these organisms. To understand these changes we must know how the origin of life i.e. evolution of the earth, of stars and infact the whole universe took place.

The study of these is known as evolutionary biology.
