(N/A) In both male and female cockroaches, the $10^{\text{th}}$ segment bears a pair of jointed filamentous structures called anal cerci.
In male cockroaches,a pair of short,thread-like anal styles is present, which is absent in females.
In females, the $7^{\text{th}}$ sternum is boat-shaped and, together with the $8^{\text{th}}$ and $9^{\text{th}}$ sterna, forms a brood or genital pouch. The anterior part of this pouch contains the female gonopore, spermathecal pores, and collateral glands.
In males, the genital pouch or chamber lies at the hind end of the abdomen, bounded dorsally by the $9^{\text{th}}$ and $10^{\text{th}}$ terga and ventrally by the $9^{\text{th}}$ sternum. It contains the dorsal anus, the ventral male genital pore, and gonapophyses.
