According to the current legal standards:
$1$. Up to $20$ weeks of pregnancy,$MTP$ can be performed based on the opinion of one registered medical practitioner.
$2$. For pregnancies between $20$ and $24$ weeks,the opinion of two registered medical practitioners is required for specific categories of women.
