The major product is the nitrile $(CH_3CH_2CH_2CN)$ due to attack by carbon,while the minor product is the isocyanide $(CH_3CH_2CH_2NC)$ due to attack by nitrogen. Hydrolysis of the minor product,$CH_3CH_2CH_2NC$,yields a primary amine and formic acid: $CH_3CH_2CH_2NC + 2H_2O \xrightarrow{H^+} CH_3CH_2CH_2NH_2 + HCOOH$ Thus,the product is $n-$propylamine $(CH_3CH_2CH_2NH_2)$.
