The angle of reflection is also $i$.The angle between the reflected ray and the mirror $M_1$ is $(90^o - i)$.In the triangle formed by the two mirrors and the reflected ray,the sum of the interior angles is $180^o$.The angles are $60^o$,$(90^o - i)$,and the angle of incidence on mirror $M_2$.From the figure,the reflected ray from $M_1$ strikes $M_2$ such that the ray reflected from $M_2$ is parallel to $M_1$. Thus,the angle of incidence on $M_2$ is $30^o$.Therefore,$60^o + (90^o - i) + 30^o = 180^o$.$180^o - i = 180^o$.$i = 30^o$.
