Then,water is eliminated to form the resonance-stabilized allylic carbocation ($CH_2=CH-CH_2^+$ $\leftrightarrow$ $^+CH_2-CH=CH_2$). Finally,the bromide ion $(Br^-)$ attacks the carbocation to form allyl bromide $(CH_2=CH-CH_2Br)$. Thus,the major product is allyl bromide.
