On heating with water (hydrolysis),the isopropyl hydrogen sulphate yields propan$-2-$ol. $CH_3-CH(OSO_3H)-CH_3 + H_2O \xrightarrow{\Delta} CH_3-CH(OH)-CH_3 + H_2SO_4$.
