The second male gamete fuses with the two polar nuclei located in the central cell to form a triploid Primary Endosperm Nucleus $(PEN)$. This process of fusion of three haploid nuclei is known as triple fusion. Following this fusion,the central cell,which contains the $PEN$,is referred to as the Primary Endosperm Cell $(PEC)$.
