Given for the cylinder:
Radius $(r) = 28 \, cm$
Height $(h) = 90 \, cm$
Curved surface area of a cylinder $= 2 \pi r h$
$= 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 28 \times 90 \, cm^2$
$= 2 \times 22 \times 4 \times 90 \, cm^2$
$= 15,840 \, cm^2$
Total surface area of a cylinder $= 2 \pi r(h + r)$
$= 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 28 \times (90 + 28) \, cm^2$
$= 176 \times 118 \, cm^2$
$= 20,768 \, cm^2$
