It contains $RNA$,ribosomes,enzymes for $CO_2$ fixation,proteins,starch granules,and lipid droplets (plastoglobuli). Within the stroma,there are flattened membranous sacs called thylakoids. In certain regions,these thylakoids stack together to form structures known as grana.
